Going from purchasing Acker's original greatest hits with his original "Strangers On The Shore".I bought THIS CD, to replace the cassette tape I bought way back in the 80's or 90's.I knew immediately that this "Strangers" was not the original from the ending. Regardless, THIS version of Strangers is a nicer, more sensual version.(Don't listen to the Andy Williams song of this, it's sad...but still very good...and so is Roger Whitaker's version with words. I love those as well).This CD, all in all, is well worth it. All the music in this is great!!!
